Driving in Uganda

I have now driven in Uganda! I know, it doesn't sound like that big of a deal, but I thought I'd share anyway. Considering that I was driving a standard on the left side of the not so great roads with people, bikes and crazy drivers all around, I think it is a noteworthy accomplishment. I didn't stall-out once or hit anything and I stayed on the correct side of the road the whole time!

My passengers were great sports as they put their lives in my hands! They are also a bit dramatic.

I vote Elbow should be the new minister of Transportation for Uganda.

I'm impressed as well. Way to go! Be sure to watch out for the cows. I hear they have the right of way!

Just got your email with the blog address. I'm sure you sent it earlier, but this time I went straight to it and bookmarked it! What a wonderful journal. Thank you for sharing the thoughts, pictures, and ministry/mission news. Thank you for giving of yourself and being the Lord's instrument. I can tell he is already blessing you for giving to him in this way. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
With love,
Kelly

Hi Laura Beth,
I enjoyed reading your recent email report and now discovering your blog. Your driving report, visit to the falls, MTI and missionary adventures make me lonesome to return to Mbale! Love you guys, Don Box

Hi, Laura Beth. I enjoyed reading your email report. And I've really enjoyed looking at all your pictures, especially the ones with your car passengers.

I haven't seen so much fear etched on faces since I rode the Tower of Terror ride with folks at Walt Disney World:-)

We miss your smiling face around RHCC. But I can imagine that Father God is smiling as you are letting Jesus live out his life through you.

Be blessed,
Rusty
